Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 August 2026

This site is run by Albert Dunglison Design, a sole trader based in Worthing, West Sussex. This policy explains what personal information the site collects, why, and how it is handled. It is written in plain English on purpose.

What this site collects

The site itself does not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or third-party trackers. The only personal information collected is what you choose to submit through the contact form:

Why it is collected

To reply to your enquiry and, if you decide to work with me, to communicate about your project. Nothing you send is used for marketing, resold, or shared with anyone.

How it is stored

Contact-form submissions are handled by Netlify Forms, the hosting service that runs this site. Submissions are delivered to my personal inbox at albertdunglisondesign@outlook.com and stored in Netlify's dashboard until I choose to delete them.

Netlify is GDPR-compliant. Their infrastructure is based in the United States, so your enquiry may briefly transit through servers there before it reaches me.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies of its own. Netlify may set a small number of technical cookies purely to keep the site working (things like anti-abuse checks). None of them track you across other sites.

Google Fonts is loaded from Google's servers to render the display typefaces. Google may log your IP address as part of that request but does not receive any information you submit through the form.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask me to:

Email albertdunglisondesign@outlook.com and I will respond within a reasonable time. There is no fee for this. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you feel your data has been handled improperly.

Client project data

If you become a client, any information you share for the purposes of building or maintaining your website (copy, images, brand assets, login credentials for hosting or domains) is used only for that purpose. It is stored in tools I use to run the studio (email, cloud storage, a password manager for credentials) and deleted on request or when it is no longer needed.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page will change with it.
